Join us for a Film Fridays screening of Exodus, followed by a Q&A with Director James Bluemel and Filmmaker Hassan Akkad, who was also one of the film’s main subjects.
The PBS Frontline film is a 2018 winner of the duPont-Columbia award. Exodus is an extraordinary verité film that follows a group of young refugees who leave homes in disparate countries and make their way to a new life.
This event is free and open to the public. Pizza will be served. RSVP not required.
The Film Fridays documentary series is sponsored by the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Awards and the Columbia Journalism School Documentary Program.
