  • Columbia Journalism School, Joseph D. Jamail Lecture Hall, 3rd Floor Pulitzer Hall, 2950 Broadway New York, NY, 10027 (map)

Join us for a screening of "Red Army," followed by a Q&A with Director Gabe Polsky.

"Red Army" follows the story of the Soviet Union national ice hockey team through the eyes of team captain Slava Fetisov. It's a film about the tight link between sports and politics.

Pizza will be served. Free and open to the public, no RSVP/registration required.

This event is part of the Film Fridays Series, which screens first-run documentaries followed by conversations with the filmmakers. The series is sponsored by the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Awards and the Columbia Journalism School Documentary Program.
