Join us Friday, March 8th at 6:30 PM for the screening of “The Interpreters”, a documentary that sheds light on the life of over 50,000 interpreters who helped protect U.S. troops on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan.
“The Interpreters” follows Iraqi and Afghan interpreters who worked with U.S. forces, and who are now targeted by insurgents as a result. The thanklessness of the job turned out to be worse when the U.S. proved reluctant to help them and their families evacuate and relocate. This is the story of how they are rebuilding their lives, told through the personal experiences of three interpreters.
