Join us for a special Film THURSDAY screening of the duPont Award Winning documentary, Love Them First: Lessons from Lucy Laney Elementary.

With unprecedented, yearlong access, this gem of a film explores universal issues of race and poverty through an intimate portrait of a struggling Minneapolis elementary school. Its masterful storytelling introduces us to children who both melt and break hearts, a devoted staff, and a charismatic principal whose personal history gives her the empathy her impossible job requires. It's a tale of inspiration, perseverance and the power of love.

Q&A after the screening with Directors Lindsey Seavert and Ben Garvin, who will be in town to receive their 2020 duPont Silver Baton.
