Join us for a screening of "God Loves Uganda," followed by a Q&A with Director Roger Ross Williams.
"God Loves Uganda" explores the role of the American evangelical movement in Uganda where American missionaries have been credited with creating schools and hospitals, but also blamed for promoting dangerous religious bigotry.
Pizza will be served. Free and open to the public, no RSVP/registration required.
This event is part of the Film Fridays Series, which screens first-run documentaries followed by conversations with the filmmakers. The series is sponsored by the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Awards and the Columbia Journalism School Documentary Program.
