Join us for a screening of "Grey Gardens," followed by a Q&A with Film Editor Muffie Meyer.
"Grey Gardens" is the renowned documentary from 1975 about Edith Bouvier Beale and her daughter Edie, a reclusive pair living eccentric lives in a derelict mansion in East Hampton. The film has been reimagined in a new 2K restoration.
Pizza will be served. Free and open to the public, no RSVP/registration required.
This event is part of the Film Fridays Series, which screens first-run documentaries followed by conversations with the filmmakers. The series is sponsored by the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Awards and the Columbia Journalism School Documentary Program.
