Join us for a screening of "My Italian Secret: The Forgotten Heroes," followed by a Q&A with Director Oren Jacoby

"My Italian Secret: The Forgotten Heroes" documents the story of Italians who rescued Jews and other refugees fleeing the Nazis in World War II. The film follows sports idol Gino Bartali, among others, who were a part of a secret network that saved many people from the genocide.

Pizza will be served. Free and open to the public, no RSVP/registration required. 

This event is part of the Film Fridays Series, which screens first-run documentaries followed by conversations with the filmmakers. The series is sponsored by the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Awards and the Columbia Journalism School Documentary Program.
