Join us for a screening of "What Happened, Miss Simone," followed by a Q&A with Producer Amy Hobby. 

"What Happened, Miss Simone" is a biographical documentary about the life of legendary Nina Simone–American singer, pianist and civil rights activist labeled the "High Priestess of Soul."

Pizza will be served. Free and open to the public, no RSVP/registration required. 

This event is part of the Film Fridays Series, which screens first-run documentaries followed by conversations with the filmmakers. The series is sponsored by the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Awards and the Columbia Journalism School Documentary Program.
