Can You Hear Me? A Conversation with Zoe Chace and Michael Barbaro

  • Columbia Journalism School, World Room, 3rd Floor Pulitzer Hall, 2950 Broadway New York, NY, 10027 (map)

Join us for a conversation with This American Life Producer/Reporter Zoe Chace and The Daily Host and Managing Editor Michael Barbaro.

Chace and Barbaro are both experienced journalists who are creating some of the most compelling stories on the radio and in podcasting. They're also each winners of a 2018 duPont-Columbia Award—Chace for her This American Life story on a small town in Minnesota grappling with issues of immigration, and Barbaro for The New York Times' podcast, The Daily

They'll speak about the challenges of making stories for radio, interviewing subjects on tape, and getting to the heart of a story.

The conversation will be moderated by Daniel Alarcòn, author, Executive Producer of the podcast "Radio Ambulante," and Assistant Professor at the Columbia Journalism School.

Seating is limited. Please RSVP to attend this event.
