In a collaboration with Frontline PBS, Journalist (and Columbia Journalism School professor) Dr. Jelani Cobb embedded himself in the Newark Police Department’s gang unit to get a first-hand look at the issues surrounding policing, race and civil rights.
Cobb and Frontline PBS Director James Jacoby spoke with fellow Professor Betsy West, at a screening of the film at the Columbia Journalism School in 2017.
